This August we're pledging to spend less time on social media
When was the last time you spent distraction-free time with your friends? It becomes seemingly more challenging the more we get drawn into our social feeds. Take some time off together, here's to simpler times.
Reconnecting has never been made easier.
We get it. When you all get together there's a lot of decisions that need to be made. We've got those taken care of. Once you sign up you'll have access to a set of optional activities to host with your friends. Each week of the month we've got a virtual & socially distanced in-person activity planned. Touching base frequently together will make this that much more rewarding. Of course, always feel free to plan your activities should you wish!
How do I get people involved?
Luckily, this couldn't be any simpler. If your friends aren't yet aware of the Social Reset, you can check out our Team Lead Resource Package below, there's lots of goodies here that you can use to share with your friends!
Yoga, Workshops, Meditation, and More?
With all this new found time on your hands you might be looking to pick up a new self-care practice, or educate yourself about the psychology of social media platforms. To help you on your journey, we'll be running workshops and speaker events each day throughout the month which we encourage you to attend.
Make an Impact on the Community
Just like running a marathon for charity, or growing our a moustache for Movember, when you pledge to reduce your social media usage for the month, you'll have the chance to make a broader impact on youth mental health. We'll be doing this by fundraising for Jack.org, Canada's largest peer-to-peer youth mental health charity.
